On 21 June 2001 at about 1:30 pm Andreas realized one of his dreams by meeting Jean Michel Jarre, who is one of his major influences. Jean Michel Jarre had come in Greece for his two Akropolis concerts at the Herod Atticus Theater in Athens on 19 and 20 June 2001. Andreas attended the second concert as well as the dress rehearsal on 18 June. The meeting lasted for a few minutes and took place at the entrance of Athens Plaza, the luxurious hotel at the Syntagmatos Square at the center of Athens, where Jean Michel Jarre was staying. Andreas had the chance to express his admiration, congratulate him for the wonderful concerts, introduce himself as the webmaster of Jarreonline.net and give him his CDs Life Images, Melodic Winds and Song for the Children (CD Single) as a gift. Jean Michel Jarre was in a big hurry as he had to go to the Flash Radio offices for his online chat at www.flash.gr, but was very polite, thanked Andreas for his kind words, the Jarreonline.net website and his gift. He also agreed to pose, letting Andreas take the following great photo:
